Important update for student organization leaders
Dear Student Leaders: I hope you had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend.
As you know, in response to an increase of positive COVID-19 cases among students, we put a hold on all in-person student organization events and gatherings through tomorrow (September 9). While we monitor testing trends after the holiday weekend, we will extend the hold through Sunday, September 13, with the intent of resuming activities on Monday, September 14. As a reminder, in-person events and gatherings will be limited to no more than ten people.
Likewise, to further expand your opportunities to engage with each other, we are in the process of installing and completing inspections for three large tents located at:
- Hale Green
- Outside of Traditions at Scott (North Residential District)
- Northeast of Curl Market (North Residential District)
These spaces will be available for informal use starting next week.
We will update you soon about next steps regarding reservations of these tents, outdoor spaces, and Student Life facilities for the rest of the semester.
As always, thank you for all you are doing to come Together As Buckeyes and promote a safe and healthy Ohio State community. Your ability to advance Ohio State’s “get involved” mission, even during a time that we must stay apart, is nothing short of remarkable. O-H!
