What are my options if I am uncomfortable taking in-person classes?

The university has updated course offerings for autumn semester to offer a variety of in-person, virtual and blended experiences. We would encourage you to discuss any concerns that you might have with your academic advisor after that process has taken place to evaluate your options. Students with particular needs for accommodations should also contact Student Life Disability Services or the ADA Coordinator’s Office.

Ohio State has published guidelines and requirements on the Safe and Healthy Buckeyes site that detail the measures to be taken by the university and the requirements for all individuals to limit the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of the community.

A pledge will be required for members of the campus community, including students, faculty, staff, administrators and visitors, to affirm their understanding of what is needed to help fight the spread of the virus and their intention to do their part. Accountability measures will be in place for those who do not abide by required health and safety guidelines.
