Are there any safety guidelines for commuter students living at home but coming to campus for in-person classes?

Ohio State is working closely with public health officials and other partners to encourage students who do not live on campus to practice physical distancing and good hygiene habits as well as avoid having or attending large gatherings. The university will continue working with all stakeholders to encourage health and safety efforts.

Support services are available for students who do not live on campus. Students can work with the Off Campus and Commuter Student Services office (offcampus@osu.edu), Student Legal Services (studentlegal@osu.edu) or the Student Advocacy Center (advocacy@osu.edu) for support.
